Put that Recycle Bin in another Recycle Bin, then put that Recycle Bin in another Recycle Bin, then put that Recycle Bin in another Recycle Bin, then mail it to yourself, and when it arrives, smash it with a hammer!!!

If you can, it probably requires editing the registry. Do a google search, there are probably a few windows tweak sites with instructions on how to do it.

Right click the desktop, hover on "Sort icons by..." or whatever it is in English. There should be an option there that says "Show desktop icons". Click it.

Just out of curiosity... if you plan on hiding the recycle bin, how do you plan on deleting stuff [http://forums.massassi.net/html/confused.gif]

I guess you could use like... shift+delete all the time... but that could get annoying. And what if you forget and just hit delete! :x

Of course, you could go and uncheck Active Desktop > Show Desktop Icons.

Yeah, but you know what? This one, this one right here, this was my dream, my wish, and it didn't come true. So I'm takin' it back. I'm takin' 'em all back.
