It isn't good to take many antibiotics because you, and the bacteria themselves more importantly, build up resistances to them.

I'm sure Run may have something to add to this. But yeah, doctors just love perscribing things. It is the quick and easy path, and we all know where that goes.
This would also merit a discussion of how Docs over presribe psycotic drugs, but I'll leave that be for now.
Don't trust doctors, they are people too, and people make mistakes. Be educated, never follow anyone blindly. I'll give you another example. A general prac. perscribed me Levofloxacin ([edit]put Amox, but I was too lazy to check back what it really was[/edit]) when I was ~14. Happens this drug is not to be given to people under 21, it stunts growth. Anyhow, my two cents.
