Using a new ATI graphics chip called "Imageon 2300" which can be used in cellphones and other small devices.

In the video, thats Quake 1 running in OpenGL @ 240x320.

what i hate about the n-gage is the screen... if you are gonna try to advertise it as a game system design it like a game system and don't give it a cell phone screen

anyway... i'll just stick with quake for my PC and n64... and maybe if they ever release it on the GBA (since most of us know it's possible)

It would make sense if it was called 'imagen', as that would be a combination as IMAge and GENorate, which is what the chip actually does. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

Did you hear how the games played on Ngage can be played on many other cell phones, using some (illegal) decryption software and a special installer to install it onto the other phone. (The phone does not need any special hardware, just enough memory, and a correct display/model) Which means all that 'special video chip' stuff is a load of BS. Those games also run flawlessly on the other phones, btw.
