Q : What happens when my character dies?

A : The character data will be erased from the game server, and you'll either have to create a new character or use a different one.

I was actually never really interested in that Gundam stuff, but the idea of being able to walk around and then drive a giant robot in an MMORPG... this sounds like alot of fun [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

Glad that they're not doing it in the Wing (After Colony) era.

Yeah but in Mechwarrior you can't actually get out and run around and get stepped on by other players [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

Now an evolving Mechwarrior MMORPG, complete with politics and plot and all that.. /that/ would be worth looking into.. /this/ is just giant robots wishing they were copol enuogh to be Transformers.

<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">"Prototype UC" is the test phase of the game service, prior to the final "official" release of UniversalCentury.net GUNDAM ONLINE.
We would like to inform you that the sign-up of testers for "Prototype UC" is limited to residents in Japan only, and then only to users of the Japanese version of Microsoft Windows.
As of now, the service is not being offered to those living overseas, and/or to those using a non-Japanese version of Windows.

Furthermore, as of the moment we have not yet confirmed that the service will be offered to regions outside of Japan, nor have we confirmed that the service will run on non-Japanese versions of Windows.
nbsp;
Please rest assured that once we reach a formal conclusion, we will announce the availability of the service via official channels such as this web site (www.universalcentury.net).

Thank you for your continued interest and support.

The website is in English (or rather can be) so I believe that the game will be translated into English in the future.

Looks real cool. Too bad I avoid MMORPGs. I've been finding my time slipping away too fast as it is recently.

Amen to that brother

Mechwarrior to me had less whiny teenagers. Infact, it had none. Inner Sphere, the Clans, you name it. I'll take my shadowcat over any freaking Gun-danged thing.

I'd take both. To quote Nicholas Kerensky
