I got a odd problem, when i enable the remote hardware my tv tuner software that came with the tv tuner crashes all the time, yet its designed to be used with the remote, anyway i went on and found a different program which has better support and works better for displaying tv and blah blah but its missing one feature, remote

i can't use remote with the orginal program included with the card cos it crashes it all the time. like crashes before it even start up.

but i also can't uyse my remote with the different software cos it dosen't know about it, anyway i heard there was a another software that gave support to remote so i might be able to use that.

anyway i need some recommendation for a good remote support and tv tuner software

my card is an leadtek wintv 2000 deliux

What OS? Windows? Your pretty much limited to your tuner's software on Windows, especially for remote support. Linux, on the other hand, is a different story. XawTV, KwinTV, etc, all support Lirc input.

but i'm also soon dual booting gentoo just waiting for the 2.6 kernel livecdrom so i can boot off my SATA harddrive without ****ing around with the IDE harddrives and stuff.
