My headphones are slowly becoming a piece of junk. It's getting hard to hear the music and I wanna get some replacements.. What do you use, and how long have they lasted you?

Sennheiser HD433s
more than one year, maybe two

Keep in mind, no other brand of headphone has lasted me more than 2 months of regular use. I've tried Panasonic, Sony, Koss, and a bunch of no names. None of them compare to my Sennheisers. I suggest you check out the company Grado as well.

Sennheiser Hd 497s are the best headphones you can get for about $50.

AOpen HS-780, although you could try some of their HP line if you don't want the mic, they're perfect for me. And 17 bucks to boot. Trust me, they are too good to be true, but they're still true.

I have a pair of Sony Earbuds and a pair of Aiwa HP-A181 headphones. I don't think Aiwa makes that version anymore. I've had them at the very least 4 years and they've lived through sitting in my bookbag for extended periods (somewhat of a feat), having the cable chewed through by the cat and stitched back together twice, and generally being sat on quite a few times on accident.

I like those headphones.

I've got a pair of Labtech's. Work nice for me. Great stereo sound. Good for labtops, PC or CD players.

I have a pair of Sony MDR-V150's and they are quite comfortable and sound pretty good. I also have a pair of Koss KTX Pro 1, sound good and they are portable.

Thanks for the suggestions and stuff folks. I'm actually looking for a pair i can use for my cd player, not just my PC. I've got a few ideas now and I'm going to have myself a look at what I can get around here.

Unfortunately the connecting terminals have a tendency to come off from time to time.

Fortunately the 3m corporation has a quick fix available that gets me back to listening to my phonographs in no time

get some Sennheiser behind the neck headphones from amazon!
mine were $23 (the PX-60... or something like that) and they absolutely blow the pants off of Sony and any other brand i've used.

5.1 headphones are real, but the only good ones are the professional kind that are really expensive.

I have the Zalman 5.1 headphones. Good for games, not so much for music, etc. In hindsight I would have saved up some more and gotten some sennheiser headphones....but at that point I'd already spent an *** load on my PC.

Hey, I'm pullin' for ya. We're all in this together [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

I think I'll probably scrounge some money together and order myself some of those sennheiser's or something. Thanks for all the suggestions Y'all.
