I need to know something about HK-47 in KotOR(that's right, isnt?). Where is the stimulus event to unlock his core?

Don't give it away! Don't give it away!

Although it just might happen so I'll avoid this thread

Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Also, the stimulus is an action that has nothing to do with HK-47, and happens during a specific point of the game, I dont think you can make it happen any sooner. So if you're stuck on something, HK-47 isn't the answer.

Also, the planet would probally disrupt the plot also

KotOR is different. And its the biggest, greatest spoiler ever. Thus it must not be told.

... I've played the game on XBox, gotten to the plot twists, and thought nothing much of them.

Maybe it was becasue I figured something like that was going to happen at some point. Or maybe it was because I read a little to deeply into the cutscenes and the dialouge and the NPCs actions.

*spoiler hinting*

Yeah, I was a little disappointed by the "great spoiler" when I figured it out hours before hand; and I'm the sort of person that was completely floored by the Sixth Sense's twist.

Maybe it's because I've played too many crappy RPGs that use the same sort of plot twist...

there is no way to unlock his core before "the event" happens.

just so you know after you have found the third star map things get interesting....doesn't matter which planet you find the third star map on ....i will say no more.

Oops, I finished the game the other day... However I thought HK-47 was boring and talked to him all the way up to the point with the twist... Needless to say I never triggered it. Oops.

i've never played a game with a decent plot, most of them are just shoddy... although most of the plots i like wouldnt make very good games.

I'm still working out the details, but if you spoil the BIG KotOR plot twist, you DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH and/or get an immediate permaban from the chat and the forums. Spoiling KotOR is a crime against the very fabric of human existence.

I guessed the plot twist of KotOR based on what people had been telling me of the pre-twist storyline. Apparently, I was right. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

I thought it was great how it looked back over all the things people said that should've tipped you off or hinted at the spoiler. When I went through the game again I noticed more of them, too. Really well written in places, it was.

I love KotOR, it's not the greatest RPG, but it's damn good. I hope they make a sequal.
