Blurry monitor

Ok, I have a 22" Phillips monitor that is less than a week but when I boot up my PC the monitor is very blurry, to the point that I cant even read most text. Is there anything I can do that might remedy this, or do I need to send it back to the manufacturer ?

Could be a problem with the refresh rate

Also, if your monitor has a setting for Moire turn it off.
