/scratches NASA off carear list.

I munch C code for breakfast and have enough room left over for a kernel debugging.

HAHA.......

dammit i'm in the same lecture.....ggrr

on the java front I read about this a few days ago in the paper, or something I saw in our physics department, makes sense when you think about it, java's pretty standard and all OS's run it.

I heard someone say once that the world is a fine place and that it was worth fighting for....I agree with the last part.

So that's why it takes like half an hour for it to react after NASA gives a command!

Hehe. I thought you said "Mars rover run over by Jawa.."

And then I read it, and what if a figured out what he needed to.. and took control of the Mars rover!

Now THERE would be something to brag about at the local fest.

Well it had to happen Freyr [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif] - I've been saying its a more versatile language... [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

*ends shameless Java plugging - the worst thing is - I'm a sadist and I know it [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]. Maybe I really should get out more... On second thoughts I'd be a danger to society - Massassi keeps me off the streets [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

-Jackpot

/me reminds self to include a snappy-Java comment in sixgnature... failing that, a cup of coffee might do... if I liked Java coffee... [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif] [/end_waffle]

It could be worse-- it could be run by windows.

"rover.exe has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If this problem persists then please go to Mars to retrieve your rover."

Java isn't more versatile, it just makes things easier. Like metric to English conversions.
