Favorite Album of All-Time?

If you had to pick a favorite album of all-time, what would it be? Just one please.

Mine:

U2 - Pop

Discotheque to Wake Up Dead Man = perfection

Jean-Michel Jarre: Equinoxe

Why? Nowadays electronic music is easily stereotypized as trance/techno crap, which is why many massassians believe the stereotypes and believe that JMJ's music would be trance or crap like that... But it is original electronica from late 70's, the time when the synthesizers were analog and most of the sounds were created by the synths themselves, not from the presets of the digital synths.

Anyways, music doesn't have to be astounding and complex, it doesn't need to be like that to sound good. Which is why Equinoxe is great. First it has melodies and tracks which are quite simple, but sound not bad at all. And then some a bit complex ones.

But there is something magical with the soft sounds of the 70's analog synthesizers, which is why this album is always my favourite album of all time.

Jarre sucks then? Well, I don't care. STFU.

Now, I'm so tempted to go with the cliché of saying that the best album is Nevermind. But that's no fun.

Toxicity? L.D. 50? Furious Angels? Throwing Copper? System of a Down? S&M? Garage, Inc.? The End of All Things to Come? Shadow Zone? Days of the New? There are so many good ones. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

This is going to be difficult. I apologize but there's no way that I could list just one. Sorry, but I need to break the initial rule.

Robert Miles - Dreamland - http://www.robert-miles.com

Dunno about best album ever, but I've been listening to Cold's "Year of the Spider" album a lot these days.

I'd probably have to put down a movie soundtrack, like, you know, Star Wars or something as best album.
