PowerDVD needs to die. I got it with my DVD player, yet they want me to purchase an add-on module to utilize surround sound. Umm... no.

PowerDVD is pretty darn good. There are *cough*ways*cough cough* to make it work without paying.

PowerDVD is the best I've used. The audio in it beats down WinDVD's..

NVidia's new "Forceware Multimedia" package is supposed to have an amazing DVD software. Unfortunatly, FWMM isn't out yet...

PowerDVD came with my computer and it has work fine for me.

I have InterVideo WinDVD. I've only used it once myself, and I wasn't too thrilled when comparing it to a regular DVD player.

WinDVD = pain
PowerDVD = good

www.VideoLAN.org is also a good (OPEN SOURCE!) but still somewhat beta-ish
