I just finished building a computer, and I used a hard drive from my old computer. Now, it had winXP and linux on it, as well as a good bootloader that let me do all sorts of adjustments.
But for some reason, my bios won't recognize my CD drives! I have 2, and they both work in linux, but the comp dosn't recognize bootable disks on startup. The floppy does work. How do I get my motherboard to rocognize these disks?
I reformated my hard drive, and I get the same problem. (I reinstalled the bootload with some floppys, but linux is gone.)
