It's not finished yet, I'm still writing the third draft, but here's chapter 1.

The god-like ball of burning gases was slowly beginning it’s nightly descent
behind the distant mountains of the fourth Yavin Moon. Large, ancient temples dotted
the lush green landscape as far as the eye could see. Two figures stood atop the nearest
of the great Massassi Ruins.
Princess Leia Organa Solo held her emerald-green lightsaber in a defensive stance
as Luke Skywalker, her twin brother, deploys his attack. Blaster bolts erupted from the
small Blastek DL-44 pistol Luke heald in the palm of his hand. Leia swung her
lightsaber and deflected the shots with relative ease, sending the red beams of energy
flying in every direction.
Leia felt something tug at her mind, and suddenly the bolts weren’t just coming
from Luke, but from the small remote probe droid that had silently risen up behind her.
Leia spun, and deflected two more bolts, but a third hit her hard in the left shoulder. Leia
released a cry of pain, and deactivated the lightsaber. The green blade quickly retreated
into the handle of the weapon.
“You’re progressing well in your training, Leia,” Luke said, “but you need to
concentrate on your surroundings, not me. Don’t focus on just one oponent, focus on
everything.”
“Luke, I sense something.” Leia said, not wanting to hear his criticizem. Luke
frowned at his sister, then took in a deep breath and closed his eyes.
“I feel it too.” Luke answered after a moment of silence.
“What is it?” Leia asked, curious.
“I don’t know.” He confessed. “We should make contact with Coruscant, and
tell them to be watchful.” Together, Luke and Leia left the roof of the Massassi Temple
just as the last edge of the Yavin gas giant disappeared behind the mountains, leaving the
temple in the darkness of night.
Han Solo sat in his aged chair, and stared out at the treacherous asteroid field
ahead, a very nervous expression painted across his face. Han cautiously maneuvered the
Millennium Falcon through the asteroid field, and his mind started to drift. He thought
back almost thirty to his experience trying to outmaneuver the Galactic Empire in a very
similar asteroid field. Han had been much younger then, and the Millennium Falcon had
been too.
A heavy groan from deep within the ship snapped Han back to reality.
Chewbacca bellowed a howl of rage at Han for being so ignorant, and R2 D2 made a very
rude sound.
“R2-D2! You watch you’re language!” Threepio scolded his domed counterpart.
Suddenly, the Falcon was rocked be a massived explosion, and Chewbacca flew
out of his chair and collided the back wall of the cockpit. The Falcon took a steep dive.
Han quickly recovered from his surprise and grabbed the controls, trying to take them out
of the dive, but they continued to fall.
“Captain Solo, I don’t think this is such a good idea. It would be a very good idea
to get us back on course!” Threepio wailed.
“I’m trying!” Han shouted, “The controls are jammed! Chewie, get me a readout
on the bottom thrusters!” The hairy Wookie raced out of the cockpit and into another
room. A frustrated growl erupted from the com-system. “What do you mean they’re
gone!? One collision couldn’t do that much damage!” The Falcon was rocked by another
impact. “Let’s get out of here! Head for the escape pods!” Han commanded.
“Captain Solo! What about the ship?” Threepio asked.
A sad look crossed Han’s face. “It’s about time I got a new one anyway.”
“Oh my!”

Admiral Tsulen sat nervously in his Command Chair on the bridge on the
Calamari Cruiser Liberation. Years ago, during the final stand of Grand Admiral
Thrawn, Admiral Tsulen had begun his career in the Republic military. Now, he was an
Admiral, an Admiral waiting for a very important communication to arrive.
A young officer approached the Admiral’s chair. Tsulen turned to greet the
officer. “Admiral. Our scoutiships found nothing of Captain Solo. It is very possible that
the Millennium Falcon was destroyed in the asteroid field.”
Tsulen ran his hand through his dark hair in thought. “But we didn’t recieve any
distress signal. It doesn’t make sense.” Tsulen argued.
The officer gave a slight bow. “Yes, Admiral. We’ll keep searching.” Tsulen
returned his gaze to empty space, and let out a sigh.

A massive fleet of Imperial Class Stardestroyers slowly flew through the Brighton
Nebula. Captain Teisal looked out at the beautiful dying star in awe as his flagship, the
Invincible, passed through the strange, tentacled whisps of cosmic particles. The brilliant
purple-orange glow of the Nebula cast fleeting shadows across the bridge.
Teisal was startled out of his trance by the figure that had walked up behind him.
“How much longer, Captain?” the figure asked.
Captain Teisal spun aroung quickly to face the Admiral. “I would estimate at
least three more days, Admiral. I could be mistaken, the radiation in this system is
scrambling some of the ship’s sensors.” Captain Teisal replied, forcing down the
surprise.
The Admiral smiled. “Good. Contact Lord Nefarious in the Budigar asteroid
field. Inform him that we will be arriving on schedule, and we will have the planet
secure in four standard days.” The Admiral ordered.
Teisal bowed. “Yes, sir.”

The throne room was dark. Not only the lighting, but the mood of the room itself.
Darth Nefarious stood in his long black robes before a hologram of a tall, well built man
in an Imperial Captain’s uniform. The man dropped to one knee. “My Lord, allow me to
introduce myself. I am Captain Teisal of the Imperial Stardestroyer Invincible. Our
forces will be entering the E’Klain system within three standard days, and shall have
complete control in four.” Teisal reported, swallowing the fear that gripped his throat.
“Very good, Captain. If this operation is succesful, you will be in for a
promotion.” Darth Nefarious replied.
“When shall we expect your arrival, my Lord?” Teisal asked.
“We will arrive as soon as the orbital defenses have been cleared, Captain.”
Teisal bowed to the floor, and hologram image faded, leaving Darth Nefarious in
his vast throne room once again.

I've read nearly all of the Starwars books. I didn't think I'd ever see this post again. I didn't say that I was going to publish it, I just said that my friends said it might be good enough to.
