TinThantir is "The Balance Point" in the language of "the Ancients". TinThantanir is a realm very similar to Earth, but there are such things as magic, elves goblins, and many other things that Tolkien fans would be familiar with(except the rings,of course). Long ago in two other realms identical to TinThantir in all relevant aspects, the people who are vagueley refered to as "The Ancients" prospered. There were seven children who had a special affinity to either swordplay, archery, and other things not so pointfull, such as being good with walking sticks for defence, and holding shields, discovered three weapons each, such a dull silver long-,a silver broad-, and silver shortsword. Needless to say the silver ones were good and the black ones were bad. In each of the realms the children learned to use their skills and weapons for good or evil with the one realm good, and the other bad. As each group progessed down their chosen pathways their weapons changed to mirror their choices, the bad turning black with a shorter mysterious inscription and a circle with seven points going inward, and the good turning bright silver with a longerinscription with a sevn pointed starburst design. Okay, in the two mirror realms the people prospered until the One Evil decided he had had enough of that fun and prosperity and called upon all of his forces, be it the dark 7 or whatever else he had in the good realm and destroyed all things good in the Dark realm and then went and attempted to destroy what he could of the good realm with the forces he mustered in the Dark Realm. A great and marvelous battle ensued and made a waste of the Good Realm(I'll call it Lightantir, good point, and Darkentathir, evil point). The White and The Black 7 both learned of TinThantir through the battle createrd portals. They both strived to introduce Their weapons to the 7 in TinThantir. Due to Their efforts instead of just one 7, there was two groups of 7, One that had a good light, and one that had a bad light in them. "The Ancients" are those survivors of the clash between the forces of Lightantir and Darkentathir. I will then post basic profile sketches of the 7 and tell you where you can find a picture that I have drawn up that has the inscriptions, the insignias, and a drawing of the weapons.

I need some people to volunteer, I have also decided to have the Good 7 be turned into Elves during the war for the good Realm, and the Dark 7 be turned into Goblins in the same battle. Again I need people for the Good 7(dosn't matter what gender preferably 5 female 2 male) and the bad 7(again dosn't matter, preferably 5 male 2 female) make up you own names as long as they are similar to the 7 on TinThantir.

A couple things, Gandalf.

1. Are the writers representing the dark and light sevens in TinThantir, or in Lighthantir and Darkenthantir?

2. You are apparently hoping for 14 writers, 13 other than yourself. That is a pretty hefty goal. I don't believe any story has gotten any more than 10 writers at any one time, and only one or two that got that far, like "The NeverEnding Story". You may wish to cut down on the number of the characters.

3. Also, can we make up the histories of our characters? How much freedom and leeway do we get? Do the seven need to be in alliance right at the beginning of the story, or can they be leading their separate lives when they're united for the war?

4. You may not get any writers right away, since most are busy on other stories. You may have to wait until new writers visit this board. But don't worry; if you keep pushing this story, writers WILL come.

You get about as much leeway as you want, as long as you follow the guidelines such as friends, brothers, and such. You are writing for TinTathir, or if you want, you can write for one (or more than one, if the surcumstances allow) of the Light or dark 7, so, I want to each of the TinThantir people filled, and at least one each for the light and dark 7, I will also fill in any spaces needed. The Light and Dark 7's are not allowed to openly confront the gray 7 until they have decided which side they want to fight for. The 7's from the other realm can do behind the scenes things, such as ensuring the 7 will get the Good/Bad weapons at an early age and get into the right crowd and such.

No it's my fault for not being very clear. I hope that I will be able to do better in the future. The Light and Dark 7 were transported to TinThantir along with the other survivers of the destruction of Lightantir to TinThantir. The Light and Dark 7 both are trying to make TinThantir into what their realms almost were before their destruction. The closer the Gray 7 gets to their desision point the more like they will become to ether the Light or Dark 7. If at the decision point they haven't made their choices they will split into two different people. So if by the decision point the decision hasn't been made then there will be two Light 7's and two Dark 7's.and then they'll duke it out with the whole multiverse at risk. Here are the profiles for the other three members. Whoever wants can make up a background story for the Light and Dark 7.
