Okay, Ford, glad we got that resolved. Gandalf, we'd still love to have you! Never be afraid to make up your own stuff.

And Ford, few people are ever COMPLETELY original, even myself. We always base our ideas off something else.

Welcome to the story, Koobie!

Koobie and EvilGiraffe, please note that your characters would be in the Intergalactic Federation that Jillion Raith is from. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Hey, just so y'all know, I'm thinking that psychic force, magic, and Law are all the same thing, just different names to different people. Psychic force to the Intergalactic Federation, magic to the Orbian primitives, and the Law to the elves. But it's all the same thing: the power that binds the universe together. And the secrets of it are locked behind the Golesta. How's that? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

-----

Jillion Raith was furiously typing notes on her datapad, when the Keeper spoke into her mind.

Madam Raith.

She looked up. "Yes?"

You have asked me many things. Now it is my turn to ask you.

Jillion frowned. The guy was a PSYCHIC, for crying out loud; couldn't he just read her mind?

The Keeper either anticipated her question or DID read her mind. I prefer not to be impolite, thus I ask rather than intrude upon your mind.

Jillion nodded. "I appreciate that, Keeper. Ask away."

Aw, dangit, I gotta go. I'll write more tomorrow. Byers!

Okay, so, Ford, you're allowing the StarCraft stuff?

Gandalf, assuming Ford is allowing the StarCraft stuff, you need to tell me what point in the StarCraft history this is taking place. Also remember that the Keeper of the Fragment is going to be far more powerful than Tassetos, because even though he only has a Fragment, it's a fragment of the, basically, ultimate knowledge and power that lies behind the Door.

Also, let's have this be a story where there was no Earth as we know it. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

That said, let's get another story post going.

-----

Admiral Bajieb Sarkoln stood rigidly at his command post on the Valiant.

"Sir!" the communications ensign called. "Dr. Raith has transmitted her sealed report up to us to be relayed to the Scientific Guild on Alpha!" Alpha was the home planet of the humans.

Sarkoln hesitated. He knew something of Raith's mission, to secure great knowledge that would surely lead to great power. He should read her report himself, instead of just blithely relaying it to the Scientific Guild. If it was important enough, he would send it to the Shogun on Alpha, high commander of the Intergalactic Federation military. . .

-----

Alpha. It was a world very similar to our Earth in terms of atmosphere and climate. It was also heavily protected by four of the new 100-mile-long Leviathan-class battleships, which combined size with efficiency to create a ship of great reliability and power, unlike the older 55-mile-long Ultradragon destroyers, which relied on brute force alone and were unpopular with most military commanders.

Though the Intergalactic Federation was nominally a democracy, it was in actuality ruled by the Directorate, a military junta presided over by the Shogun. The top military leaders of the Federation had declared martial law with a majority vote in the Senate (elicited by bribery and force) and formed the Directorate in response to the terrorist attacks of the Kor'y'Zel Combine.

The Kor'y'Zel Combine was a shady organization operating both within and without Federation borders with a number of major players both human and Sado'Zel. The Sado'Zel were the Elders of Shadow, a race as ancient as humanity. All other races besides humanity had been created by the Sado'Zel in genetic experiments. All those races had psychic failsafe triggers built into them so that their "creators", as it were, could control them.

The Shogun was the founder and leader of the Combine. The other primary members of the Kor'y'Zel were the key managers of the Sado'Zel PsiEx Guild. PsiEx was the Psionic Extraction Guild, a corporation of the Sado'Zel empire that was devoted to extracting psychic (or psionic, as it was also called) force from every segment of the cosmos for the use of their empire.

The Shogun controlled the Combine, the Combine controlled the humans and the Sado'Zel, and the Sado'Zel controlled everything but humanity. So, in effect, the Shogun was the de facto ruler of the inhabited universe.

It was one day that the Shogun received a message from one Admiral Bajieb Sarkoln of the War Shrike Mark II Valiant. Military officers had the authority to send transmissions they deemed of sufficient import directly to the Shogun's office, where his staff filtered through them to find the really important messages. The message was Sarkoln was one such.

Your Excellency the Shogun, the message read, As you may be aware, I am attached to Dr. Jillion Raith of the Federation Scientific Guild for a project involving the search for the fabled Golesta. It seems that Dr. Raith has found proof that such a door exists in that a fragment of the Golesta's power is being kept by an elfin creature on the planet Orbius One in the ruined spaceport Jeslot. This fragment is actually enormous psychic power. I believe that this bears further scrutiny. Bajieb Sarkoln, Adm.

The Shogun considered the message for long moments. This could be of great importance to the Kor'y'Zel Combine. If the Golesta could be found, its power could be used to bring the universe under his complete control. He thought a moment longer, than transmitted orders to Sarkoln.

Shono stumbled on, in a daze. He no longer knew if he was awake or sleeping. All he knew was taking one more step. The wind whipped at his cloak, swirling it about, as though it were trying to partner the clouds in the sky as they performed their macabre dance. Even the ground had caught the madness, as it cracked at his feet and ripped itself asunder. The endless plain swept out before him, smooth and even. Behind him, cruel and sinister shapes carved from the shattered earth taunted his back.
----------------------
"How is he today?"
"Still bad. His arm seems fine now, but the fever still rages."
"Do you think he will make it?"
"I ... don't know. The next few days are crucial. If he starts recovering, it will be soon. By the end of the week, we should know."
----------------------
Shono felt his strength fade, as he continued on, but suddenly, the landscape was changing. Whereas once he could see only land ahead of him, now he saw that he had moved out onto a finger of rock, jutting out from the cliff of a sheer canyon. The wild forces following him calmed and dissipated. Freed from their relentless pursuit, Shono collapsed to the ground. When he next looked back at the way he had come, The plain was gone. Panicking, Shono looked around and realised the slab of rock was hanging in the air, suspended by he-knew-not-what. Turning back around, he was confronted by another object suspended in the air.
A huge door, easily a mile high. The doorframe of marble, covered in intricate carvings and laced with ivy, surrounding the solid oak and mighty iron devices on the door. Shono watched in awe as clouds swarmed around it, as though kneeling in homage. Shono felt the rock beneath him moving, tipping towards the door, as he realised the clouds weren't paying their respects. Angry lightning flashed out at the door, smashing chunks of marble the size of houses out of the frame, as thunder crashed through the sky, shaking the huge metal bolts of the door.
Petrified, Shono scrambled to the back of the stone, away from the door, hoping to tip the rock back. As it pivoted in the air, Shono saw the clouds receed from the door, and a bright light, almost blinding him, shone out from behind the door. Saved from the clouds, the door retaliated, and struck out with pure light. Fire sprung up around Shono's rock, and danced through the clouds. Shono threw himself forward, trying to right the rock and hide from his urroundings, as the sky burnt.

----------------------
Shono waved to the farmers as he left. After he had awoken from the fever, he had spent several weeks working on the farm. Although he enjoyed the work, tiring him out so he didn't dream when he slept, he chafed to be back in a city. The countryside was not his territory. He had great difficulty conveying the idea of a city to them, but eventually had managed to get directions to a nearby spaceport. Well, as near as he could figure it was a spaceport. Shono got the impression it may just be a ruin, but it seemed the best place to start looking for this "expedition" Shal-Neg'reth had told him about. Shono wondered if He was really gone now. He had cheated Death once, by hiding in His own tear, solidifying Himself into rock, but now the rock was destroyed, could He have found a way to carry on living? It had been forgotten that a piece of the rock was still around, embedded in the arm of the man who would unwittingly carry the remains of Shal-Neg'reth to the symbol of his defeat, where He would no doubt wish his revenge upon all the Gods of the Cosmos.
----------------------
Shono dreamt again. He had come to dread sleeping, as always he would find himself here. This lump of rock. He had been seeing it more clearly each time. Now it was unmistakably the Tear. He could not rest, he had to keep the Tear perfectly balanced. If he let it tip towards the Door, the sky unleashed its terrible fury and the Door was almost destroyed, if he let it tip away, the Door set the sky on fire, choking the life from the entire World. Shono vowed never to find out what happened if he let the Tear totally overbalance...either way.

[NSP: Next post Shono'll come up against the pschic shield at Jeslot, and have to face the inner conflict that his dreams have been hinting at, whilst the external conflict between Shono/Shal-Neg'reth and The Keeper and his psychic shield. If the end result is not to people's taste, I'll go back and change it... just a bit of advance warning - I haven't decided how it'll end yet, but I will be happy to accomodate changes people want.]

NCS: I hope you guys aren't too mad at me. How do you get italics, I've wondered.
-------------
The two of them walked through the town. Aull wandering around with Destructos following behind. They eventually made it up to the tower.
(You may revele yourself, Destructos), the keeper said after a while.

"Yess, I think I shall now," he said and had his robes change to a calm green.

The others seemed surprised with the appearence of this strange creature.

(Please state your purpose for being here)

"I am Desstructoss Hisstackan of the Mercenary Guild of the planet Sslintar three. I have come to further my career," he said against his will. The keeper had squeezed out more information than he had wanted to revele.

NCS: I won't take it too far now, seeing as how everyone isn't here. Go ahead and auto me, I'm gonna be gone for a few days.

EvilGiraffe, good, good, but try to remember that all the gods are dead (or in the Eternal Pit, as Onma and Hourhanimir are), and if any part of them remains, it is only a fragment, as it is with the God of Chaos. Let's try to have continuity here.

And, please, let the Fragment that the Keeper has be more powerful than the Tear. Onma was the supreme god, so a fragment of his power ought to be more powerful than a fragment of the Chaos God's power. Remember, according to the history, Hourhanimir the Dark killed all the gods, including the Chaos God, and was matched only by Onma the Ultimate, who hurled both the Dark and himself into the Eternal Pit behind the Golesta/Door.

However, if the Tear is less powerful than the Fragment, the Keeper will let Shono in, seeing him as no threat. I want the Keeper to basically be the supreme power on the planet (as I'm planning a climactic showdown between the Keeper and the Shogun and the forces of the Kor'y'Zel Combine [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]).

And Gandalf, you do italics like this: [ i ] and [ / i ] except without the spaces. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Months passed since Kayl first trained under Louy, and now, after so much practice, Kayl sensed from Louy that he was prepared. For what, he still wasn't sure. Today, Louy had been leading him through deep woods. Something about a Fragment, and stopping a force from obtaining it...it didn't make sense.

"I'll tell you when we reach the Orogate," Louy replied, not even turning around. Kayl kept forgetting that he had the same powers as himself, even though now, in such reletively short time, he had surpassed his teacher. After several moments, they reached a clearing in the woods. Kayl still couldn't figure out exactly HOW they got there--the woods for all appearances could loose the best of travelers.

"Kayl, do you see the Orogate?"

Kayl looked, stretching his senses out. Barely noticable, Kayl sensed a rather small space in the clearing, alien to the surroundings.

"That is the Orogate, Kayl. You will have to crawl through it to enter, and as you travel your long path, you mustn't open your eyes. Your senses will not be able to handle what you see inside. Once you reach the other end, you must speak with the Keeper of the Fragment. He will inform you of the rest. Best of wishes, Kayl. I must go now."

With the chill of apprehension sweeping over him, Kayl got on his knees and entered the Orogate, beginning his long trek to find the Keeper of the Fragment.

(NSP: There, that'll get Pengun's character to the planet. I'm not really sure what to do with him though--any help would be appreciated.)

"John im going to teach you something you wont find in any of the textbooks. It was outlawed a long time ago, but it really isnt enforced aymore, because everyone I know does it."

"Whats that fulton?" John asked, honestly startled that fulton did anything illeagal at all.

"I'm going to teach you to fly."

"you mean like this?"

John spread his fingers wide, palms towards the ground. he felt the energies of the ground below and those from above surge into hm as he ocused on pushing the ground away from him. slowly he lifted off the ground until he was a good six inches off the ground. then he took off.

Once in the air he could d anything he swooped high into the air doing flips and loops and dives. he reaised that here he was free.. he felt untouchable, ready to stand up to anything.

Fulton grabbed his arm. He was furious.

"Where did you learn that? i hope by the gods you didnt practice that at home."

John srugged him off, annoyed. "well until just a few moments ago it was just a theory really. i thought that if i can levitate objects, why cant i levitate m self? but then i realised that all i really had to do was to push the ground away and be free."

"well doin those loops an whorls were what got the practice outlawed in the first place. the queens son wus flying for his mother to demonstrate how powerful a roken he had become and he lost concentration, falling into the depths of the Lok Massad."

"Oh no! what made him lose concentration, it occurs to me to wonder?"

"thats a story for another day. but we must be getting to the 'port we have to investigate that ship. so in the meantime, keep you altitude low and dont do anythin fancy. all we need now is to get you killed too."

"right to the spaceport it is."

they came down to a good hudred foot off the ground and went along at a steady clip. the scenery was anything but dull. there were buildings all in various stages of ruin. half overgrown, roofs caved in, generally the look of things forgotten long ago.

there was a large circular courtyard with a ring of monoliths surrounding it. John was pondering the purpose of this courtyard when suddenly a small boy grept out from under nothing. he drpped several feet unexpectedly, recovering quickly.

"You okay kid?" Fulton called from aove.

"i saw someone. we should go see who they are."

"right you are."

"So your from the plannet Slintar?" Jillion asked.

"Yess, I am from the planet Sslintar, what'ss it to you?" Destructos said, narrowing his eyes.

"Nothing I just wondered, I am a scientist you know. I have also heard of the amazing feats of the creatures from that planet, particularly the blastantis tribe."

"That is the tribe that I come from."

NSP: hey im back. dont worry story will follow this message. ive started putting this story into a logical order, and getting it into book chapter form. i was wondering with those whos characters arent as detailed, if i could take creative liberty and tweak them, not change anything but gie a bit more depth/believeability. also, ill want all of your names, so i can give credit where it is due. when the story is finished, i believe it may be good enough ot publish(being why i'd want to add depth and give credit) well anyway ive also started work doing this for BftN (sorry i didnt ask for permission Highemp, but i wanted to reread it but in an order more easily comprehensable.) well on with the story eh?

They eased thier way down to the ground touching down about 10 yards from the circle of stones. they could see the boy in the centre, staringing around in wonder.

"Ho! Boy! come here!" fulton called to him.

the boy looked heir way and frantically tried to find the nothing he had crawled through. John and Fulton waked towards him calmly with open hands to show they werent armed. to anyone who was unfamiliar with the roken it would weem this way. the boy calmed down a bit and, looking exausted sat down.

Willard Nolluck kicked up a cloud of dirt as he walked down the winding path, hands in pockets. The wind picked up.

"It's cold out today," he decided, although he wasn't quite sure whereas his clothes had become so tattered that they offered little protection and therefore was very easy to get a chill.

Willard sighed. It wasn't being poor itself, he minded. He had gotten used to that. No, what got to him is how he couldn't even afford a night's stay at an inn, but some heartless jerk could buy out a kingdom of luxory just because he had the money.

"Perhaps," the young man thought, "Money truly is the root of all evil." But he had no time to be bitter. Some people have wealth and some people don't and that is that.

Willard's thoughts were suddenly snapped back into the present as he heard a high shrieking voice in the distance.

"Help! Somebody help me! AAAAHHHH!!!"

Willard quickly ran to the sound of the female voice, shouting silly cliches like "Have no fear, ma'am!" and "Help is on the way!"

When he had finally gotten to the scene, he had found an elderly woman in tears, shoved against the wall by a muscular brute.

"I'm not going to tell you again, Granny! HAND IT OVER!!!"

"Hey!" Willard yelled with all of the courage he could muster, "You le-leave her alone!"

The mugger, who was at least three times Willard's size, turned to the young lad with a mix of surprize and amusement.

"Well, what's this?" he slithered with a cocky smirk.

Willard held out his puny, pale fists. "I said leave her alone."

"Oh really?" the neanderthal chuckled, dropping the old lady and turning his sights on the young man, "And why should I?"

And as the assailant's shadow loomed over the timid boy's body, Willard felt himself shiver.

This wasn't shaping out to be a good day.

Seelro (Seal-row) sat astride his horse as he gazed across one of the last unspoiled places in the realm of Silforn. He saw farmers walk across the fields in front of him collecting their crops. It was one of the few times in Seelro’s life that he got to relax, for Seelro was one of the Guardians of Silforn. They are an elite group of combat specialists that replace an active military in the land of Silforn. Silforn is almost always under attack from neighboring nations Cedia and Grossia because of the unspoiled lands that Seelro now looked upon. He was amazed that so much life could be thrown away just to gain a piece of land approx. 5 acres in size. As I stated before most of the land in Silforn, Cedia, and Grossia are spoiled. When I say spoiled I mean used up, totally striped of all natural resources and covered with huge smoke spilling factories that pollute the air and cast a black hand over the sky. Now back to Seelro, as he watched the farmers his companion Iliset rode up beside him.
“Amazing,” Iliset remarked, “It’s so green.”
“Come we must return to the Keep,” said Seelro. So they turned and rode their horses back up over the hill and under the black hand to the Keep. They rode them into the stable and then unsaddled the horses and returned to their separate rooms, but Seelro didn’t return to his room instead he went to the Undermarket. A place under the keep that everyone knows about but nothing happens to the people who sell illegal items and do illegal acts there. He went because he had received a letter earlier that day calling him to that very market…
=============================================
That’s all for now. More later.

Seelro walked into the market. He noticed the shop the letter told him to go to almost immediately. The Guardian walked up to the counter and said the words that were in the letter.

"Dante sent me."

"Aye, go inside then ye cully..." replied the shopkeep.

Inside was a group of other Guardians all standing, sitting, or leaning around a circular table. Standing on the table was Kenneth, the teacher of all Guardians. He started to speak.

“Welcome Guardians of the realm of Silforn. We call you here today because we have learned of a great relic in a far off land. We have gathered you the best of the Guardians to search for this relic. To decide which of you will go on this quest we will have a competition. It will test all your skills as a Guardian. The various tests shall include combat, both hand-to-hand and with weapons, problem solving, and using the Defo*, and target tests with guns. All of you that wish to compete stay, all who wish not to leave now.”

Seelro intrigued stood his ground.

“Good, the tests shall begin tomorrow go back to your rooms and relax, but remember this is for the security of Silforn and is a total secret. Tell no one what has occurred here tonight and report at the practice field for the contest tomorrow at 8 o’ the clock.”

Seelro returned to his room. He entered and unstrapped the pistol that sits on his waist wherever he goes. He cleaned the weapon and removed his knife from its sheaf on in his boot. A long sharp blade inchanted to hold its shine and sharpness it was. He had been taught to use both of these weapons since the age of 6 and was lethal with them. He removed his clothing and lye down on his bed to sleep until the contest tomorrow.

---------------------------------------------
*Defo means magic just the language of Silforn.

Silforn, Grossia, and Cedia are on a planet separate from the Intergalactic Federation. Seelro knows nothing of the federation or even that space travel is possible or that there is anything more than his world. The planet’s name is Joch. Most people are farmers, soldiers, and factory workers that also have no idea about the rest of the universe.

Raith was working in the tower with the Keeper when a communication from the Valiant interrupted her.
"Valiant to Raith. Sensors are tracking a severe storm heading towards your position. Thought you might like to know."
"Thanks, Valiant. Out."
This is not the storm season.
Raith looked at the Keeper. It was true that they hadn't had anything but calm, pleasant weather since she had arrived, but the Keeper looked more worried than Raith would have expected for a piece of unseasonal weather.
"What do you suspect it is?"
The Keeper smiled. I have been wrong before. It is probably nothing. But his expression did not convey the same message.
"Keeper, should we do something?"
Raith looked out the window, and saw the storm clouds rising. Before the Keeper could respond, the clouds pounced. Lightning flickered out, striking buildings. Thunder rolled through the city, shaking the foundations of the tower.
Yes, we should do something. I think we should go to the bottom of the tower.
They hurried down the stairs, trying to get out before the storm destroyed the tower.
----------------------
Shono stood on the ridge, cloak swirling about him. He knew now not to fear the storm. It would not harm him. He controlled it. Shono laughed as he send bolts of electricity towards the tower. He couldn't enter the city without removing that psychic shield. Not with the power that was raging through his head.
----------------------
It is powerful. It is full of hatred. It is to be feared.
"There must be something we can do," pleaded Jillion Raith.
"Lett meee at itt," hissed Destructos. "I will crusssh ittt and pound itsss bones to dust"
It is not a mortal force, Destructos. It is beyond anything you may have faced before.
----------------------
Shono looked down on the spaceport, as the storm raged around. It almost looked controlled, the way it was focusing on the tower at the centre of the city. To his left, further along the ridge, he could see another figure, cloak billowing, looking down at the scene of destruction, laughing. Shono realised only he could save the city. No-one else was around to do anything. And if his guess was right, there were people in the apparently deserted city. He must save them.
----------------------
A scream ripped through their heads, a psychic yell of pain and exhaustion.
I am sorry. That took me by surprise. It has started, the shield is being attacked.
"Keeper, are you ok?"
I am fine. For now. It is yet weak. But I have not been tested like this for so long. So long...
----------------------
As he struck powerful blows across the shield, Shono felt another prescence. To his right, he could see another figure making his way along the ridge. Not easy to spot, even for one with the power of a God. But Shono was using his mortal skills to see. He knew the figure was as good at moving unseen as he was. Shono called the storm away from the city. He would take care of this assaillant first, then continue with crippling the shield.
----------------------
It moves away.
The Keeper, pale and limp, raised his head and looked at the sky.
It calls the storm away.
Jillion Raith looked down at the Keeper, thinking he would not last long if the storm returned.
----------------------
Shono stepped into the clearing. The setting sun behind him cast a long shadow that touched the toes of his opponent, with the power of a storm massing in the sky beyond him.
"So we meet again, Shono," came the voice from under the hood. Shono recognised the voice of Shal-Neg'reth, but as the figure lowered its hood and Shono peered to see the face of the God, he was shocked to find himself staring into his own visage.
"Wha..? I don't understand..."
"I didn't think you would. You are a weak pathetic fool, I am the Shono with the power of Shal-Neg'reth under My control, and I shall destroy you. You stand in the way of My ascent to the Heavens. Without you, I will be all powerful and take My place amongst the Gods. For a God I will be. Successor to Shal-Neg'reth. Taking Chaos back from Mother, and spreading it as I sees fit."
----------------------
The Keeper's brow furrowed in confusion. There are two. One challenges it! Quickly, I must get there. Someone help me.
----------------------
Shono lashed out with lightning, striking his opponent in the chest. As the other Shono crumpled to the ground in agony, Shono revelled in the rolling thunder, drinking in the wailing wind.
His cloak dancing with joy as well, he watched Shono struggle to his feet and turn to face him again. Another bolt of lightning, and he dropped again, writhing.

----------------------
The Keeper was being driven at speed along the ridge in one of the ground cars from Valiant's shuttle. Hurry, the challenger fails.
----------------------
Shono dived into the new powers revealing themselves to him. A hidden well buried deep within his mind.
The very earth trembled at his command, and threw itself around his pathetic double, burying him deep beneath the ground. A simple blink of an eye, and the ground would crush him and reduce his mortal frame to dust.
----------------------
Shono felt fear threatening to overwhelm him. But, as ever in these situations, a small corner of his mind spoke out with a reassuring calmness and authority. He hadn't been counted the best thief on the surface of Gar-Fathmor for nothing. Anyone watching may have thought it magic, but Shono twisted around and out of his rock casket. Silently melting into the shadow as his enemy thrust shards of rock into the cage where he had lain. Circling around with the ability that had let him defeat this God once before. But this time Shal-Neg'reth was in a human body.
Silently, Shono picked a rock off the ground.
----------------------
"Keeper, I thought you said there were two. There's only one person there."
Do not use your eyes to look. The battle is not at your level of awareness.
The Keeper was much calmer now. Raith was both reassured and disturbed by the Keeper's running commentary. As the ground car raced up to the struggling figure in the clearing, the occupants' understanding of the events unfolding before them merely got worse as they witnessed the stranger reaching up and smashing himself in the back of the head with a rock. Only the Keeper continued smiling as Shono's limp body fell among the disturbed earth.

NSP: hope that wasn't too inconsistent - have been changing something I'd already written to make it fit more within recent developments.

Welcome, Shono
"Who are you?"
You may call me the Keeper
"Where am I?"
Trapped deep in your subconsciousness
"What?"
Your mind fled, and found safety here
"I don't understand - fled from what?"
A god
"Wait... you mean Shal-Neg'reth. I thought..."
He also fled. Your will prevailed, you are the stronger, but only right now, at this instant. Shal-Neg'reth will return again
"Then what must I do?"
You must return first. Do not let Shal-Neg'reth regain control before you
"How?"
I will help you...
----------------------
"Keeper?"
I do not know. It is too early, Raith
"It iss a monssster, it nearly desstroyed usss. Why do we keep it alivve?"
It is not the mortal frame you should fear Destructos. The true danger is being held back by the mind of this man. Kill him and you would unleash a power that would destroy you in seconds
"And you, Keeper, would it also destroy you?"
No, Raith, I am more powerful than it. But I would not be able to protect you. My service is to the Fragment, not mortals
"What is it though?"
It is the last remnant of any god in the Universe, except the Fragment. Shal-Neg'reth, God of Chaos. I fear he means to destroy us all

[NSP: Can I just get this straight, we've got the Keeper, Jillion Raith and her team [HighEmp], Destructos [Gandalf], Aull [HighEmp again] and Shono [Me] in Jeslot; Kayl [Pengun], John and Fulton [Ford] approaching Jeslot; and Zed [Koobie], Willard [ComicKook] and Seelro [Cyber] yet to appear on the planet? Just want to check where we're all at and that I haven't missed anything so far.]

To all those who are interested in this story:

In a few days im going to be re-posting the story. it will be under the title "The Golesta". im doing this mainly because i think that the current title sucks. also, since i have begun editing for possible use as a novel or something, i'd like it presented in the Chapter format i have put it in.

but before i do this, i'd like to know who is still interested in the story. and also, who would write for it? so far, i think there are only two people who plan on continuing to write for this. me and Evil_Giraffe. i will need a few more writers to support this properly. if youre interested, just reply to this thread stating a) if your interested, and b) if you want to write for it.

thanks a lot.

Ford
