my major plans involve taking AKT from where it left off and ending it... then starting up a sequel... the end of AKT will be a big post starting from where the story left off

Ending it? What? How? And why, for that matter? I think we've got a very good storyline emerging...

well, it depends. we could have a massive battle now and call it a day, and then use the characters we have now in a new story, or we could have the massive battl,e have ni'kash lvie,a nd kepo it the same thread. weither would work. There are still alot of questionsflying around though, imo, that could work to a nice storyline.

My thoughts exactly. We'd be hard-pressed to finish it now and not have it feel rushed. Arcturo still has his big surprise to throw down, and then there's the whole Zanadal plot which is another large exposition...come on Jim, give us a chance to do this one right!

Not for a while yet, by my reckoning. I've set up the storyline for the current thread to continue for some time now - Nirewin, Geoffrey and Arcturo must -

A) Escape/save Silverpoint
B) Find Shaelassa's sister (involving a raid of the Barbarian valleys)
C) Rally the forces of mankind (including the corsairs of the coast)
D) Confront Ni'Kash in the climatic battle

Why end a story pre-emptively for a sequel, I believe, when we have so much life to pump into the current episode yet?

I know, i was jsut trying to rouse some sort of responce out of Jim. The storyline is going well, I think. AS long as someone posts of cource. *cough cough*

i'll have to re-read the entire thread before i can continue posting...

but here's how i plan the ending (without too many details)...
Ni'Kash disappears his remaining forces then scatter and hide
Nirewin travels to some distant land [you'll learn why later]
Geofferey sails off to try to find his home
everyone else sticks around to rebuild silverpoint

the sequel will pick up with [wouldn't you like to know :p ]
