“Is someone up there?”

The friend with the beard was alarmed. “Quick, tell them something! They’re coming!”

Steven stood up. “Uh, hi.”

The ushers looked quizzically at Steven.

“Hello?”

“We’re just, uh, waiting for the next show to start.”

“The next show is in two hours. What are you doing in here?”

“Waiting…?”

“Why are you wearing that?”

“Wearing what?”

“That!” The usher made motions that duplicated the gear Steven was wearing. The friend with the beard decided now was a good time to make himself known, so he stood up. One usher left the room.

“What are you guys doing?”

“Looking for change?”

“You shouldn’t be here. You’re up to something.”

“Nope, just sitting here.”

“Come down here.”

“No thanks, we’re fine.”

At this time, the other usher returned with two security guards.

“Come down here, now.”

“No.”

The two security guards came up.

“Oh, so this is what you’re up to. You’re in for it.”
