Well, I got rid of it, and traded it for this.

Good choice? I think so. It plays so much better...

Well, the link just says that the Peavy site is down due to maintenance, but I'm assuming you got a Wolfgang? If so, good buy! Those are nice guitars, infinitely better than Ibanez. But then again, I've always hated Ibanezes.

Well, I've been a long-time fan of Ibanez's, but only the certain ones. Especially the to I went through. But once I played this Wolfgang Special Custom Edition, I was floored. The action on it is awesome, the design is unique, which is something I needed, the sound and tone, right on the money. And the systems one it...wow! Easy to manage and it keeps the tone locked. Unbelieveable. Defintitely worth the $2,100.00 CDN I paid for it.

BTW, the site I've link this post shows you a special Tobacco TR edition, which isn't as good as mine...

What's it sound like? I've never played/heard one.

...I played a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe reissue '57 yesterday and today... nice guitar, just a bit heavy.

Wolfgangs are more on the Strat end of the spectrum in sound, but they do have unbelieveable action.

Les Pauls, SG's, and Explorers are still my favorites though.
