Fruity Loops 4.1.0

Full (Producer Edition)

I have heard that you can somehow use the VST/generators of Jeskola Buzz in Fruity. Does anyone know how?

There's a built in buzz machine adapter. Try going to Channels > Add one > Buzz generator adapter. If it's not in the menu, try selecting the "more" option and browse for it in there. The only problem is that you can't automate any parts of it, and it's actually fairly unstable. But there are a million better alternatives to every buzz machine. If you need help finding a specific type of VST, just let me know.

As for tutorials, I'm writing a beginners/how to make a better drum patter tutorial right now. It should be up by tomorrow night, complete with images.

How would you go about making the synth noise so commonly found in "dance" music?

Hard to explain but I think you'll know what I mean.

There's a great number of synth noises that are common in dance music. If you could give me a name of a specific song, or even a clip of the sound, then I could help.

I use FL Studio 4.1 Full.

SimSynth can make all sorts of great synth "noises".

Fruity Loops 4.1 Full.

BTW, is anyone else having problems with midi output?
2004-03-08, 6:16 AM #8
Yep, my MIDI output doesn't work at all ... [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif] I hate having to use CPU-hogging DXi when I have a fairly expensive hardware synthesizer.

Slayer 2 is an awsome electric guitar VST plugin.

You can download it here.
Just scroll down to Slayer 2 and click PC Demo. I know it probably doesn't have all the features as the full version, but it works for me.

FruitLoops 3.56 (Full)
FLStudio4 (Demo)

I've been thinking about purchasing the latest version, but not until I get a little better with what I have already, so it will be worth it.

There's some things in studio that make it so much better than loops. Like the mixer is redone to be alot better (with sends, sidechaining is possible). Even if you haven't mastered flp, studio is worth the extra money.
