Problems with Fruity Loops MIDI output...

Is anyone else having problems with using MIDI in Fruity Loops? I've tried everything I know how to do (which is very little), but I just get no sound whatsoever.

In MIDI settings (F10), output mapping is set to "Microsoft MIDI Mapper", master sync output is set to "Microsoft MIDI Mapper", remote control input is set to "none", and controller type is set to "generic". Any help (please)??
