I'm feeling the techno groove...

I made this song a while back, but I never shared it with anyone. I had my sister do some voice samples, and I think the whole song turned out pretty good... well, you know, for a techno song.

Dream Cycle

Also, I did not make this with Fruity Loops, but with Orion Pro. An awesome program, better than Fruity IMO.

I'm not big on Techno, but I suppose it's not bad... About as good as any techno I've heard. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] Catchy anyway.

/me likes. It's mostly upbeat and I really like that in my music. Definitely a keeper. I'll have to check out Orion Pro, the screenshots look nice.

meh.. it's a bit too repetitive. Try some variation in the beat, an secondary melody, and perhaps some morphing.

The music industry is a cruel and shallow money trench where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

The drumbeat seems to be offset from the actual melody--sounds kinda weird. Also, the "dream cycle" sounds sorta like "dweam cycle." [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif] Apart from that, I really like it. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Heh, I'm only using, like, 3 synths in the whole song. I'm glad you guys like it though.

Flex, an example for variation in the beat?

This is trance, not techno.
Orion pro is nowhere near as good as fruity.
Your song is kind of repetitive (even for trance), but the voice sample is cool.

Whelly, can I do a remix? I'll need the voice samples and stuff. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

Yeah, you can do a remix... just let me hear it first. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] How are you going to be doing it? What do you need exactly?

Do you have AIM or MSN Messenger? If so, can I have your address? I have the musical part done, now all I need is the voice samples. My MSN is Thrawn42689@msn.com and my AIM is Sith800.
