Fairly new, Streetlight Manifesto PWNS it up. You can check their site out www.streetlightmanifesto.com and get the track Everything Goes Numb, which is awesome. My friend sent me all the songs, and is pushing for an autographed copy of the album (he's REALLY good friends with the band) for me. They've only been around for about a year, but they're wonderful.

Ah, Streetlight is one of my favorite ska bands. My friend is going to see them live in a couple of weeks... I envy him.

You know that Streetlight is made up of ex-Catch 22 members? Old Catch 22 is some of the best ska ever, and that's the same people doing Streetlight. I see it this way... Streetlight Manifesto is new old Catch 22, which is very good.

Not to mention Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution. Oh and my friend who is friends with Streetlight Manifesto, also is apparrently an 'official' member of the new Slapstick. They got drunk and drafted him into it. He has a song of them drunk XD.

\kidding - think madness crossed with Green Day

Upbeat, often slightly punky, with a brass section!

Same error.... and brass has nothing to do with ska, listen to some Operation Ivy and Choking Victim as an example.

Yeah, I know, was generalising to make things easier to follow (but my favourite ska is full of brass!).

Since it IS posted for dl on their site, just unavailable, would it be considered illegal to send it?? I'll try to find a copy of the song in the meantime.

Shouldn't think so, but I'm no expert!

People are still doing ska music? I thought it was dead.

Yeah, it doesn't work for me either. I noticed that track 2 is That'll Be the Day. Is it a cover of the Buddy Holly song? If so, that's awesome.

I've heard about a dozen Goldfinger songs. They are quite the cool.

Surpisingly the best band of the night (In terms of effort, showmanship and stage presence) was Zebrahead!

I was there for the fish though! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

*ahh, the fish....*
