Go on, dont be shy. We all have songs that we love that everyone else loves to hate.

For me, its "Around the World" by ATC.

well, my friends are all into metal, so there's not much of a problem there, but I also have a taste for good old classical too, and that taste they lack. =P

At my school, there's maybe 3-4 Metallica fans, myself included. One of them left last year.
There might be a few more there, but if so, they've remained hidden.

Everyone else is like "Why do you listen to Metallica? Why don't you listen to [popular band] instead?"

Not really. I hear "Enter Sandman", "Unforgiven", "Nothing Else Matters" and "The Memory Remains" on the radio fairly frequently, but I've heard "Master of Puppets" twice, I think. And nothing else pre-Black.
