The usual link.
This thread exists because of Flexor's request for a couple more themes from MegaMan X2 and X3.
I went ahead and did both of Sigma's themes. Surprisingly, the first theme was a blast to play. I changed the drumline a bit. However, it was NOT fun making the drumline in Fruityloops, since it alternates between 4/4 and 3/4 time. I decided not to follow the lead from the game all that closely, too.
The second of Sigma's themes is a bit more repititious (since it is designed for a game), and I stuck with the lead from the game a bit more, until around 4:20. It builds up to that point, then falls back down into my usual minor pentonic leads.
There's also two versions of the song. In one of them, I simply added a 'chicka-wah' sound for rhythm, since it has no percussion. I'm still trying to decide which I like more.
And the Volt Catfish theme was a trick. There are still some minor flaws that you might not notice as much as I do. This was the first time I've actually gotten blisters from playing so much. I'm not used to leads that have so many pull-offs and use the right-hand tapping technique. But at least I developed a new skill while recording this.
Enjoy, Flexor (and anyone else).
Also, can someone tell me why a stereo MP3 of 5 minutes takes up less space than a mono MP3 of 7 minutes when they're the same bitrate?

Genesis 22:2-5 - And God said unto Abraham "You must kill your son, Isaac." And Abraham said "What? I can't hear you! You'll have to speak into the microphone." And God said "Check, check, check, check. Jerry, can you pull the high end out. I'm getting some hiss up here."
