I just saw them last night in Milwaukee, WI. I saw them once before, 7 years ago. I remembered them putting on a better show back then, but it was still awesome this time. Anyone else seen them? Or heck, did anyone else happen to be there last night? That would be quite a coincidence.

Other than that, what are your favorite bands to see live?

I've never seen them live, but that would be great, they're an awesome band.

I've seen Eric Lapointe live, that was an awesome show. The Offspring was pretty cool tool.

Pfff [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif] So did I! After the show, some lady comes up to me, my friend and my g/f and starts talking about the provincial elections (the show was just before Liberals came into power last year). She starts telling us to vote for anyone but Jean Charest, and after some debating she introduces herself as Lapointe's childhood friend, who was following him on the Old Milwaukee Dry tour. She had noticed my guitar in my hands (kinda hard to miss) and asked me if I wanted to have it signed, and I told her yes. She leaves for a minute and talks to a security guard near the back stage entrance, and then comes back. Eric Lapointe and Stéphane Dufour (his lead guitarist) come out and sit at the table where they were to give autographs. The security guard that the lady talked to comes and gets us and brings us to the front of the line, where I got to talk to both Lapointe and Dufour, and got my guitar signed by both of them.

Lapointe signed on the neck, but I never coated it with anything and it wore off [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

I like Rush. I've never seen them live, and I haven't heard much of their stuff, but The Trees is my favorite song.

I've only heard one or two songs by them. They're good from what I've heard, but not good enough to make me into a fan.

Coincidentally, I just got back from my trip to Europe to have a message on my cellphone from one of my friends asking if my band was opening for Rush. I dont know if we are or not, I've been out of town for 10 days and told the guys to get things done... [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

Rush, eh... they have nice songs and stuff.

Favorite band to see live... dunno, Kraftwerk? Maybe not, but favorite artist to see live is Jean-Michel Jarre.

Quite surprising, eh?
