A while back, I dreamed about a guitar processor I just absolutely loved. Today, that dream came true. I LOVE the sound of the ToneLab SE Tube Driven Modeling Floorboard Processor. I've never seen any processor pumped with as much stuff as this. It uses *real* tube effects, has a memory bank to store up to 96 effects (including 32 presets), has 16 different amp simulators, the ability to switch between two different amp settings on the same effect, two expression pedals, a built-in chromatic tuner, send & return jacks, and software to edit and/or save effects on your pc. (You can tweak with the knobs, too.)
I want this SOOOOOO bad!
For a limited time, they'll knock of $150!!

Check out some of the sound samples!

I don't even have an electric guitar right now and I want one. It'd be really handy for different types of compression, I bet. That, and I've yet to invest in a true distortion unit. If only I could control it with midi

I was skeptical about it at first. But when I saw the VOX logo I felt a bit better and then I heard the sound clips and liked em.

I used to love the really cool floor board processors, then I realized most of them sounded like crap. Might have to try this one out though.

Try its cousin, the ToneLab Amp Modeler. Has digital and midi I/O interface thingy.

i was... i'm sure seb might be interested too...

i've been looking into the Tonelab SE for a whiel.. and i can tell you the effects and amp models are purely digital but the tube is there and is used for... something... probably on the input or maybe after everything and before the output

but it is probably the best floor (or desktop for the non SE version) processor ever

HCFX Forum poke around there and you'll eventually find some good tonelab clips... someone called MrMunky has a bunch of clips

except the cybertwin's amp models are 100% analog circuitry... the only digital stuff would be the effects

The tube is for both distortion and amp modelling. I also just learned from another source that the processor offers the same digital and MIDI I/O interface that the amp modeller has.

wrong... the amp modeling is entirely digital the tube is used in the same way as the tube on the valvetronix amps... which means on the output after the amp models and effects
