I'm working on a song and I have a really crappy drum sample library. So what I need really are a couple wav files of single snare drum hits, single bass drum hits, single tom hits, and cymbols as well.

If you want you can post'em here or send them to me at oceansun75000@hotmail.com

Even better: http://www.natural-studio.co.uk/nskit_wav.htm

Best sounding drum samples I've ever heard.

If you need any more, I can record some. It's a bit of a hastle, though.

If you do, I'd like to know something; do you want a snare 'reverb' when you hit the bass drum? With real acoustic drum kits (and even the more expensive electronic sets), the bass drum causes the snare to make a sound.

Actually, I recorded some drum sounds from my set not too long ago. I have a snare, kick, closed-hihat, open-hihat, and crash sound. The quality is not that good, so you might be better off with some samples.

From www.natural-studio.co.uk:

Check out some MP3 demos here and here.

The whole WAV kit weighs in at 200 megs if I remember properly, with 30 (about) velocities for each piece.

Damn it. I just downloaded NSkit (took half a day:rolleyes) and tried to load it into FL Studio as a SoundFont, but it froze up and I had to reboot. I guess it's just way too ****ing huge of a file (198mb [http://forums.massassi.net/html/eek.gif] ) to load. I should of downloaded it in individual wav sample format, but it would be so huge I'm not gonna even bother. Stupid god damn ****ing piece of crappy **** 56K ARGH!!! Oh well. *sighs* *whimpers*

Yeah... I thought you were going to download the WAVs so I didn't warn you about the SoundFont - my comp with 512mb of RAM has trouble loading it. Sfz processes it at 16-bit instead of 32. MaxMem has a hissy fit every time I load it. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]
