I happen to think he's quite good. His voice is not the best, but his ideas of music and his playing style is excellent. At first, I thought Harry Connick Jr. rides again, but I think his own sound is developing.

Agree? Disagree? Hate me on principle?

My apologies, I was given to understand that he's in the middle of being the 'next best thing' and that most would know him.

He's a jazz pianist, composer and singer. Described as "Sinatra in sneakers" Cullum has gone from writing his own songs ( such as the Van Morrison-esque These Are the Days, which is approaching number 1 in many music charts) to covering anyone from Frank Sinatra to Jeff Buckley.
