The set was surprisingly centered around Origins of Symmetry, with Absolution sorta book-ending it, and Sunburn and Muscle Museum thrown in for good measure. Time is Running Out and Hysteria were (unsurprisingly) fantastic and really got the crowd going, but my favourite song by far was Butterflies and Hurricanes. Matt went from guitar to piano mid-song, the solo then end of the song was simply electrifying. Another highlight was the Blackout (complete with lighters held aloft then 6 or 7 giant confetti-filled balloons being thrown into the crowd - guess how that one ended) Stockholm Syndrome encore. Brilliant. The choreography was also very cool, with 3 screens behind the stage sometimes showing shots from the many small cameras positioned around the stage, but mostly just showing weird but strangely fitting ****.
