Ressurect an album!

Forsooth! I just put Garbage - Version 2.0 in my CD player, having forgotten just how damn good this little album is.

Your project now, musical massassians, is to go forth to your CD collections, dig out an album that you haven't listened to in many many years, put it in, enjoy it, and report back here and spout forth recommendations.

Any Questions? Good, now get a move on, nobody lives forever!

Well, not too long ago, I found my Weird Al CDs that had been missing for a few years (Dare to be Stupid, Bad Hair Day, and Running with Scissors). They're just as awesome as ever.

A few weeks back I did get out a CD that I hadn't listened to in ages. However, I can't remember a) what it was or b) what I thought of it.

On an unrelated note, this is my second useless post today, out of two posts made. I fear I am turning into one of those people that spams the forum for postcount :(

Massive Attack - Mezzanine
One of the best albums of the latter half of the 90's.
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.

Started listening to my Mr. T Experience CD "Love Is Dead". I haven't even really listened to it, but now I realize this is an awesome CD.

You sound the way I used to (and still do sometimes). Stop worrying about it, because you obviously aren't spamming the boards.
Has life been treating you badly lately or something?

great songs on that disc.

Just last week for the first time in 2 years I listened to Nevermind, Incesticide, and In Utero. They held up well. I appreciate how good the music is even more now than I used to. Bleach is also decent.
Their box set is coming out soon. For real this time.

I downloaded that once. I listened to it a few times and then deleted it because I felt guilty about downloading it.
I should buy it.

I know that you love that old school stuff, dry gear, and Mr. T Experience seems like a perfect fit for your tastes. You can download a bunch of free MP3s at their record label site, Lookout Records. Alternative and Velveeta are my favorite.

Garbage is pretty well known as all gloss and no substance.

Curve sounds interesting though. I've seen them compared to My Bloody Valentine.

A few weeks ago I also listened to Sonic Youth's album Daydream Nation for the first time in years (the first time ever, really), and really like it now.
