Johnny Ramone died yesterday afternoon. Only one of the original Ramones is still alive.

In honor, I listened to my Ramones cd today.

Spector was such a weird guy.... but ya, sad times. They had some really good songs.

Phil Spector? Yeah, he was. I think he only produced one of their albums though.

I guess all those years of living the punk lifestyle have caught up with them. That must be why so many first generation punks are dying. They really abuse their bodies. I'm surprised Iggy Pop is still alive.

Johnny Ramone was so influential. You can hear it in the guitar playing of any punk band.

Rock is dead - but I believe in necrophilia.

So, what are your favorite Ramones songs?
Blitzkreig Bop doesn't count, because everyone likes that.

Sheena Is a Punk Rocker might be my favorite. I also love Bonzo Goes to Bitburg.

I loved "I wanna be sedated" before I knew it was popular.

Just their music in general is awesome.

I have a compilation of their music called Ramonesmania!, and the only song I don't like on it is Commando.
