Simple recording

I'm trying to record a song but I need to first record the guitar and then record the voice over it while I'm listening to the guitar, and then I want to add a second guitar part the same way. Is there a way to do this in Goldwave or another free program?

I use Acoustica Mixcraft, which allows you to record and play the song (which is called overdub) at the same time. I don't think it's free, but I think the demo has a 3-day trial.

You can always use sndrec32 to mix sound files.
