[edit] hah, the board's sensors s h a t out of ****ner....lol [/edit]

words cannot describe this album, its from a world where concepts such as "unique" and "indispensible" live happily alongisde "hilariously, brain-tearingly wrong".....

on a more serious note, I actually really, really like the album, its mixed and yeah there are some tracks where you think "dear god" and then there are others when you think "oh my god, this is actually good"...

anyone else heard it yet? Two popular songs that are being played often over here (UK) are his ( and Joe Jackson) cover of Pulp's "Common People" and "You'll Have Time", with the memorable line...

"Live life, live life, like your gonna die, because your gonna, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your gonna die...." :p

personally I like "I Can't Get Behind That" the most.

thoughts, post'em

I own this one, and I have to say, Leonard Nimoy is far superior to William ****ner.

good CD wolfy, haven't got it but have heard it, kinda thought they both came out equal, but ****ner doesn't even try to sing because I think he knows he can't and as such I kinda like his interpretation of songs better...

same goes for his new CD, its produced by Ben Folds, (Ben Folds Five) and has some really quality singers on the CD doing the parts that require it and ****ner doing "his thing" at the same time, it actually works, thats the amazing part...

Yeah, I was surprised to actually hear fairly positive reviews for the album.

Heh, I made a thread about this on the Music Forum a week or two ago. I still haven't seen the CD in any shops around town and I really want to get my paws on it. The fact that Ben Folds produced it makes me want it even more. I have loads of respect for the guy.

Bah, part of his name is sensored. I guess I'll have to shorten my calling him William "Rocket Man" S.hatner to just Rocket Man.

I'm definitely going to pick this up, once I find it. I love the Rocket Man. He's my favorite celebrity, because he has a weird sense of humor.

There just isn't enough love for this album. I've been waiting for it for over a month and once I got it I wasn't let down. It's very good.
