Im trying to figure out what to save up for, a new guitar, or an effects proccesser.

If I choose a new guitar, im looking at probably either a standard strat, or perhaps the jimmy vaughan signature strat, depending on how much money I save up.

If I choose the effects unit, I'll probably get the Boss ME-50.

So, uh, yeah, help would be good.>.>

I'd get a new guitar.

I go for the new guitar, and opt for individual analog pedals later on.

Might want to check out the Dean Evo series. Kind of like Les Pauls, but with better pickups and coil-taps in both hummys

I dont especially like LPs, ive played a higher end epiphone les, and didnt really care for the feel of it, ive always loved strats though. I also use the tremelo enough that a LP wouldn't be practicle.

First thing's first: get yourself a better axe. Effects and stuff can come afterwards.
