...So I just saw Collateral at the cinema, and noticing it had a very good quality soundtrack, soon found myself listening to it. The stand-out, in my opinion, is The Seed 2.0 by the Roots ft. Now, I'm as opposed to the HUGE proliferation of bland R 'n' B and Hip-Hop in the market as much as the next alternative fellow, but this one redeems itself admirably, both by (A) the quality of the supporting groove, and (B) the reggae-funk chorus that the song descends into after not very long. It has now become my wind-up song: I'll listen to it when preparing to head to a party, cool event X etc.
So, for thread legitimacy, post the songs that you use to wind yourself up to action, and those you use to make your mind serene again after it's over....
