"Wow" to that Sigur Rós song... probably the most uplifting song I'll ever hear. So what do you think are the most uplifting songs?

Joe Satriani - "Into the Light"

Different songs can be uplifting for different people. If anyone knows the song "Surfacing" by Slipknot, and you know the lyrics, you'd say they are pretty agst ridden and depressing. However, I used to know someone who would listen to that song to pump himself up before he went out clubbing (as in dancing at clubs, not beating people up with clubs).

The song "Fade to Black" by Metallica is a song about suicide. Apparently to some suicidal people it convinced them to take their own life, but to others, it turned them completely around because they could relate to it.
