To anyone who has/hasn't heard of them.

Godin guitars rock. I've known about them for a long time, but I'm really sad that so many young kids miss the opportunity to have a kickass sounding guitar just because their looks are alot more conservative.

In all honesty, a 500$ godin guitar plays almost as well as my 2000$ ESP, but with a different sound, of course. they're still very rocking axes. some models are more fitting for country/blues, some are fitting for clean jazz, others for rock blues, and a good share of them are heavy ****ing metal worthy.

I don't know if you Americans have ever seen a godin guitar in a music store, but when you do, try it out.

I've seen and heard about Godin guitars, but never have I picked one up and tried it. I'll think about it next time I'm at Steve's Music.

i'm definitely looking at buying a Godin Exit 22. mahogany bolt-on birdseye maple neck and fretboard, 22 frets (meh, but it's a new style to get used to). short 24¾ scale, and 2 single coils. and a rocking humbucker. all designed by dimarzio. a really mad axe for 515$

sounds samples mean absolutely nothing when it comes to checking out a guitar. the tone can be affected in so many ways even with a clean tone. Try one, beleive me. the necks are unlike any other guitar neck i've laid my fingers on. Godin's beauty lies in playability and incredible response. and with those comes beautiful tones.

I know, but I don't think they've invented a "play it online" feature with guitars, yet. :p
