Trans-Siberian Orchesta on December 29th at the Mohegan Sun. Yay! Last year my friend was going to get tickets to see TSO for my birthday, but they were sold out :( Then the year before that, he was going to get Boston Pops tickets for us, for my birthday..same thing. but this year, the moment tickets started to sell, he bought the most expensive tickets for all of us to go! He rocks! I can't wait. I just purchased this little gem in preperation. ;) Anyone else ever see TSO? How was it?
Think while it's still legal.

I'm seeing them Tuesday. Real close to the front. Can never get the very front though cause usually reserved for Al Pitrelli's family as he has some here in Atlanta. Still...great seats.

First time too (My fourth TSO concert) seeing them BEFORE Christmas. Usually Atlanta is second to last tour date usually on Dec 29th or 30th. They switched it up this time - which is nice.

I've seen them 3 times before I believe. I'm kinda skeptical about this show though. Their 3rd X-mas CD that just came out really is just average at best. A couple of awesome tracks - and then a lot of sleepers. Just seems like Paul O'Neil and crew were trying to fill a contract.

So I'm worried that the set list will be composed of mostly their new album when I want to hear some of the old stuff! We'll see...don't want to spoil the concert by seeing the set list yet.

In other TSO news: One of the singers, Daryl - (From the East Tour) passed away on 10/30. So that's a big loss if you're seeing the east show. I'm seeing the west again and its the same lineup basically as previous years.

If you like TSO - get into Savatage. TSO ~ Savatage contains basically the same members - and they are pretty much the same thing. Just Savatage is pure metal.

Seeing them on the 20th in Tulsa. Have been to the past 2 shows, also (maybe 3? don't recall). Hooray!
