Mr. Bungle have officially split up.

:( :( :(

They don't seem to have many followers here but they're one of my favourite bands.

RIP

only three albums too, tis a shame, i thought they would last for a long while after this, they've been together since the mid-80s.

/me has a moments silence for this terrible loss to music.

:(

Lets herre your love for the bungle! everyone should give em a listen.

NOOOOOOOOO! Sweet mother of god no! They were absolutely amazing.

I can only hope Patton's next band rivals them. *sigh* Such a great thing.

he released a cd not so long ago, matodoro.

still, nothing he will do can have the same sound of bungle, it wasn't just him putting it into the music, check out Secret Chiefs 3 for more Spruance stuff.

I've listened to a few of Mr. Bungle's songs over the years. Very cool stuff. Which album would you recommend that I buy first?

I've never heard any, but like someone said, I'll have a look and try and find some
Sneaky sneaks. I'm actually a werewolf. Woof.

It all depends what you wanna hear.

The first self titled cd is kinda funky ska jazz crazy rock... its strange but fun.

The second album is scary and insane, called Disco Volante... high quality stuff.

The third, California, is probablys my favourite right now, its very strange and expansive like all their previous releases, but its a lot more structured and mellow than Disco Volante.

S/T:

Stubb (A Dub)
Carousel
Dead Goon
My *** Is On Fire

Disco Volante:

Carry Stress In The Jaw
Desert Search For Techno Allah
Ma Meeshka Mow Skwoz
Platypus

California:

Air Conditioned Nightmare
None Of Them Knew They Were Robots
Retrovertigo
Vanity Fair
Goodbye Sober Day

theres a couple to check out from each album, although my final answer would probablys be California. :)
