What is your favorite album?

Mine would have to be Dream Theater - Metropolis Pt 2: Scenes from a Memory. The music itself is incredible, as can be expected with Dream Theater. But the songs all come together and form one story, a good yet complicated story, one that leaves you questioning and requires that the listener figure out many of the key details on their own, like a mystery. It's a metal-opera to which nothing can even compare.

That album is absolutely superb.

My all-time favourite is Lateralus by Tool. The music is all so ... perfect. Everything fits. Current favourite is probably Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence by the aforementioned Dream Theater. It's a recent purchase though, so I'm still in the honeymoon phase.

The music industry is a cruel and shallow money trench where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

Just remembered this. It's amazingly good.

I'm enjoying the first Liquid Tension Experiment CD right now. Overall, though, I'd have to say it'd probably be Opeth's Blackwater Park.

Nightwish - Once, Within Temptation - The Dance, Epica - The Phantom Agony, or Opeth - Damnation.

My top 3 would be (in no particular order) Abbey Road, Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and the White Album.

Although I have favorite songs on all of the Beatles' albums, these 3 have the most favorites.
