Re-recorded a little something

Just finished working on this song. I know, I'm not the most amazing artist/singer, but I enjoy doing it. I'd love some feedback on it.

I recommend increasing the volume on the vocals or use a little less reverb; they were a bit hard to make out at times. Also, the transition between the strumming and picking parts seems too sudden. Overall, I like the minimalist approach though, especially at the instrumental break. And the panning is really cool with that call and response lick near the end.

I agree with Wuss. I couldn't hear what you're singing most of the time. What might help bridge between the strum and picking parts is a brief pause, probably 1 measure long ought to do it. You might be able to do it without recording it all over, if you know exactly how many bpm you're doing. Or use trial and error.

But I like it. Not many people seem to do the mellow acoustic thing around here.

Not a fan of the reverb on the voice at all, I think the way you sing would make it sound better with no reverb at all. BUT when you have the reverb on the picked guitar parts it makes it kind of sound like a hurdy gurdy or something similar. What's that background noise at the end? It sounds kind of like the sea.... very cool.
