If you're in London go see it, go see it now. I was visiting my girlfriend last week, and we booked last minute tickets over the internet - about 32 quid.
I was always a mahoosive Queen fan, so was never going to be dissapointed, but was always going to (on the other hand) be easily 'offended' if it wasn't up to standard. Let me tell you that I was in awe of the show; it was just unbelieveable. I'm listening to the soundtrack and it makes the hair on my arms stand up on end even now.
The sets were breathtakingly advanced, with not just a light show, but with massive video-boards on wires sweeping around the stage, the LIVE and LOUD band on scaffolds on either side of the stage looking down on the cast. The cast. Oh yes. They were everything I'd bult them up in my mind to be, nothing short of excellent, and that was with a few minor shuffles of understudies playing (noticeably Pop and Kashoggi).
The story was far fetched and futuristic, but not crappy - the dialogue was brilliant, and in places gut-bustingly funny. Go Ben Elton.
I want to again. Right now. It's THAT GOOD.
