Aight.
I'm looking to get a Guitar. I have no experience whatsoever with them. Just looking for something to kill some time and wouldn't mind having another skill.
What would you recomend to start on..Electric or Acoustic?
Ok. I plan to eventually get a *GOOD* guitar.. But would it be bad starting on a really nice guitar? Or should I try to learn th basics on a starterish guitar? My birthday is coming up soon, and should I just ask for something nice then.. or buy a ~150 range starter guitar now, and and then save up for a better one way down the line.
Ok so on to the guitar.. I'm really leaning foward to an electric.. so havn't really done much research about acoustic.
It seems the squire packs would be a good deal to pick up for a starting guitar. And it seems the higher end really comes at great diversity of preference. I've heard at least 5 different brand names from different people. So give me some input on the strat packs.. and all those "Package" deals.. are they worth it? Or are they just POS aimed at newbies like myself.
So what I'm saying is: Give me the inside scoop
What should I stay away from.
