...to play music on your computar

I used to use winamp and personally never though i'd use anything else... now after spenindg too much time at head-fi and everyone recommending foobar i decided to try it... i doubt i'll ever go back to winamp especially with the plugin i found that lets me use my favorite winamp plugin with foobar and i also found a winamp style UI

also helps that it uses less CPU than winamp while playing... like it really matters

and while we're at it why not include images

Winamp! It does everything. I've tried iTunes and foobar but ... they just seemed unfriendly to me. And after all, Winamp can do everything they can do, and more, seemingly.

Also, I'd like to know why everyone prefers whatever it is they prefer.

i prefer foobar because it can do more than winamp and it's kernel streaming plugin>what i've tried with winamp

WMP. It takes a crapload of system ressources to run, but I like the interface better. I can't stand winamp at all.

yeah, definatly. I don't think Winamp 5 isn't to bad, though I still prefer Winamp 2.95

Sadly, Goldwave (unless I can't get track info from their database). In which case, I use some other random program on my computer. I don't even know what all I have on this thing... even though I was the one who installed everything.
