They JUST re-opened the site. New design and art work. The art work for the new albums/site is exactly what I expected. I can't wait till May 17th...

They're the one nu-metal band that I have some respect for.

I'm not a fan of that kind of music as much as I used to be, but they're true innovators in their field. It's cool to see a band with actual artistic merit become so popular.

I like the band, but that is one of the most annoying websites I've been to. :(

I'm not a fan of system of a down personally, but I can recongnize they actually put some thought into the songs, even though the riffing is simple and repetitive most of the times, the notes chosen and the way they're applied are just perfect. more proof that you don't need to shred 100 miles an hour to make good music.

I'm curious to hear the new stuff, I found some of toxicity's stuff to be pretty hooking when i was younger. Haven't really bothered with STA though.

Yeah, the website isn't the best, but that's more because I don't think the music really works well for browsing the web to.

I think their music has more roots in Minor Threat type hardcore than metal. That's where the repetitive riffing comes from.

Because you don't like it or because you just haven't found any motivation to do so?

As for the website - the whole kinetic energy ball thing is clever, but you have to cycle through each thing, looking for the exact link you're looking for. Not very functional.

If you just click on News, all the links are there without the annoying clackerballs.

P.S. I enjoyed Steal This Album just as much if not MORE than Toxicity.

I liked their first tape best. Toxicity just wasn't on par, for me.

Glad to see they're back. One of the few Metal bands period that I like.

The Self-Titled Album was pretty much crap when COMPARED to Toxicity and Steal This Album. When it came out Serj couldn't sing for beans. They sounded like crap live, and on the CD he didn't sing he mostly yelled a lot. In Toxicity they not only had a larger range of songs with better tunes and lyrics, they also had a lot better vocals, because Serj's voice improved a crap load! Now it's even better, and Serj sounds just as good live now as he does on CD...Mostly because he can sing now. Serj started as the generic screaming vocalist and now he is one of the best vocalist out there.

They're downright homely.
