What I hate so much is when I'm writing a song, hear an awesome guitar solo in my mind, and can't play it worth crap. Stupid hands can't keep up.

Anyway, I can almost do the one I've got in mind this time (surprisingly, I'm having less problems than usual practicing it). But this one part, I can't do. It's a sort of run thing (yes, I lack decent terminology).
It's 4/4 time, each note is (I guess) 1/4 note with a quarter note rest at the end of each measure at about 185 bpm. Key of E, starts on a high B, 3 pull-offs to an Ab, 1/4 pause, A down to F#, etc until I'm down about an octave. I sorta suck at pull-offs on strings in the middle, plus I'm not sure how to go from string to string smoothly. I can do it on one string (barely), but that's wrong technique, somewhat painful, and doesn't sound all too great (especially since I'm trying to keep the "round" sound from the frets closer to the body).
This is probably simple to most of you, so... technique suggestions? :o
