This is a remix of a song that we recorded in september. I rerecorded the vocals this weekend.

What do you think of the vocals? Have any tips?

Others are open to post their own vocal preformances in search of critiscm as well.

It sounds a little nasal and flat or whatever, I don't actually know what's wrong, but it sounds a little off...:(

Vocals aren't that good, but I also cannot pin point why they aren't that great.
Think while it's still legal.

Sounds more like a crappy mic or EQ job. The singing sounds fine to me.

Ya, that's bad EQ. When I heard it earlier I couldnt quite pinpoint it. Too much bass in the mic. If you're using an SM-58 you have to almost flatline the bass to make it sound like anything good. 58s are awesome mics in terms of durability, but EQ-wise they're poor performers.

Vocals arent flat at all and are like 800x better than they were a few months ago. The guitar's tone could use a bit more work too. If you're going to play open chords, turn down the gain a bit.
