Remember when Daft Punk used to...you know...not suck?

RO-BOT ROCK

I never want to hear that riff again. And now they have an equally crappy video to go along with it.

I thought this was going to be about Moby dieing, then I realised "Wait, that would be a bright sunny day". ;)

I thought Klaus Schulze died... well, at least he didn't!

Anyhow, bad stuff indeed. Though I've never liked Daft Punk.

Hey did anybody know Moby used to be a struggling mp3.com artist?
The music industry is a cruel and shallow money trench where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

No... but Ian Curtis did, like 20 years ago.

Ian Curtis > Daft Punk > * > Moby

I loved Daft Punk's Homework album...man...so many good times associated with that. But my favorite electronica/synthesized artists of all time would have to be Cusco and Mars Lasar, though they're nowhere near the same genre.

Moby's latest album (Hotel) is actually quite good, but I enjoy most of his music, so I may be a bit biased. I can't fathom why people are so anti-Moby when the guy obviously has so much talent. He isn't the best singer, that's a given, but his music is catchy as hell.

While Daft Punk has some good music, they have alot of really bad music as well.

Cusco is great. I recently downloaded Inner Journeys - Myths and Legends, and have listened to it constantly. You might also want to check out Diane Arkenstone.
