I have decied to start a thread about this casuse, I bought an album which contained unreleased material. It was 'Picses Lariot' (something like that) by the Smashing Pumpkins. Not bad, and soon after I bought it I noticed that the tracks on the album were songs off EPs, outtakes and unrealsed stuff. And some of these songs were outtakes from the Siamese Dream album which is my favourite album.

I personally like the concept of unrealesed material and well I think that the stuff is just as good as normal albums.

Yes, unreleased material is very nice.

The Nirvana box set, with 3 CD's of unreleased stuff and a DVD, is ****ing awesome.

B-side albums rule.

Cases in point: Muse - Hullabaloo, Oasis - The Masterplan

TSP Greatest Hits album Rotten Apples, came with a second bonus disc called Judas O, thats all unrealased stuff too.

The Aeroplane Flies High is a sweet tune.

but reallly, b-slide releases = the search for more money with out having to do anything new

I love rare/acoustic/"unreleased"/studio versions of songs.

I love love love the acoustic version of Motion Picture Soundtrack by Radiohead. It's just beautiful.
