Salsa Music

A few weeks ago, my girlfriend dragged me to a salsa-dancing club and despite my initial resistance I still had a lot of fun. It the first time either of us had been, so we were pretty awful, but we didn’t particularly care.

I’m curious as to whether anyone else is interested in this type of music (or other latin styles) and could recommend some albums or artists? We want to practice dancing on our own and attempt to get better. Plus, I enjoy the music for listening purposes as well. ;)

if you want a good showcase, Luna Negra is a brilliant live album of pure classical flamenco goodness.

I like that mexican music that sounds like polka. Corrido I think it's called.
